Russ "thaforce" - Bass Guitar

Born in Parkersburg and spending half his life living in Ohio, Russ learned to appreciate both kinds of music, Heavy AND Metal. A few of his favorite jam bands are...Black Sabbath, Pantera, Slipknot, "Old School Metallica", Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen, Rush, Soundgarden...we will stop there, he says" If I can stomp my foot to it or headbang to it, its all good". Growing up as country folk he also enjoys Bluegrass and GOOD Country music, which he considered Waylon and Willie, Charlie Daniels Band, Hank Jr. and so on. "Good 'ol footstompin music" he called it.

Russ plays Bass Guitar, and plays 6 string good enough to get by if he had to, he said "My fingers will never move fast enough to shred on a guitar the way I dream, so I thought I might make a good bass player". His best time playing out he says was his first show with the band at Six Pence English Pub when Mirror Mirror joined in on backups playing Strutter by KISS. His worst experience so far is in agreance with the others when they missed a show due to Johnny being in a car accident on the way to the gig.

Russ is an Electronics Technician and self proclaimed Technophile and Gadget Junky, he enjoys building Gaming Computers, learning new songs, Guns, Cars, Motorcycles and Nitro RC Racing, but we enjoy having him around to fix all of the broken stuff! Russ is a MAJOR Sci-Fi geek and seems most at ease with a Heineken and one of Johnny's Margarita's in front of him. This interview would have been longer but he mumbled something about Battlestar Galactica and disappeared in a cloud of smoke!
